From the post on her page:
That's Rooth, being all helpful setting up a wind farm in the middle of the desert. :) Hmm, maybe not so helpful .. he's stealing jobs! O_O; Well, all's good in the name of efficiency, right? =D
Marvelous work as always, Sixth. :) I really like the perspective of this piece. Rooth's anatomy is really fascinating, too -- like, I just noticed the ridge along his cheekbone that serves to secure the earfin. Neato. =) You managed to capture that awkward blend of macro-gravitas and draconic-grace, a challenge that usually winds up very one-sided. Now I'm finding myself imagining what the scene would be like if he actually stood up. *rubs neck just thinking about the strain of gawking*
Aram and her cute little friends there are adorable! I'm happy with the little details you were able to get in with the sand and vegetation. Combined with the background and clouds, the whole scene captures a lot of what I really love about my favorite place on the planet: White Sands. You really should visit it some day if you haven't. That goes for all of you reading this! ;)
Thank you so much, Sixth. Such large traditional works are rare enough, but to get one specially made makes me one fortunate dragon. With the exception of one charcoal piece by reddyeno5, it's easily the largest traditional work I own. It'll be framed and hold a place of high regard on my wall. ^_^
*flies off to work*
