Taint Fare and his adopted daughter, Blossom (whom he refers affectionately to as "Little Spider" because of her talent of sewing and making lace things out of string and thread). My first drawing I actually got proportions wrong because Taint fare is roughly the same height as Celestia, and Blossom was a wee filly when he had rescued her from raiders.

In a way. He knows chiropteran- and the clicks and squeaks are the only sounds his warped vocal chords can make. How he knows such a language... well that has yet to be revealed. However he understands Equestrian clearly, and after two years living with him, Blossom can translate about 80% of what he says.
