Do they actually transform?

Though I think I heard of these...

Oh wow....at least they look better than cartoonwise.

So how is the show anyway? I haven't heard too much bashing about it aside from how they apparently look.

It's definitely not for everyone, but I enjoy it. It's more cartoony with jokes and such thrown in. In any case I'm finding it a lot more fun to watch than the last 5-6 years of half-assed anime have been.

Actually no. BW isn't Japanese anime, it's Canadime.
(I wouldn't say Animated is better than Beast Wars. They're both damn good in their own ways)

Plus it's fun looking for all the little nods to all the previous incarnations.

What about the lil know Beastwars Anime with Leo Convoy Jr? That was anime true.

Well be honest the only full Transformers series I've ever watched was Beast Wars and the Transformers movie. So I really know little about the series.

I'm watching the premier episode right now on YouTube and while some things aren't making much sense to me (Namely Black Arachnia with Megatron? What?) but I'll continue watching it.

I've watched the show on Youtube and I have mixed feelings. Some of the faults of the Comedy relief seem a little to much. Sometimes I wonder why Prime even keeps Spoungebob and Patrick.... I mean Bumblebee and Bulkhead around. On the plus side, I really like the fact that Prime doesn't start out as the perfect leader and he becomes more competent with experience. As Winston Churchill once said "Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm."


That being said... the Toys really rock. I think I want Jazz.

I couldn't agree more, I have been caught squee-ing and gleefully sitting on the edge of the couch for most of the episodes so far. Not to mention the characters are so well written to boot. It's already started some very memorable lines for me. such as Megatron's epic "You couldn't lead a parade.. *BLAST*"

I am going to be SO BROKE when these hit the shelves here, but they're so worth it XD

It has good storys, nice fresh character development.. a few awful characters *cough* Sari *cough* but if you can get past the teen titan's artwork and aprecate it it for the storys and characters. its a very welcome adition to the transformers legend :)

I only have Cybertron Prime and Prowl. They're totally awesome, but those are even more so.

AFAIK, Animated toys are only available in Cincinnati right now (that city is Hasbro's test market this year, largely due to Botcon. W00t!)

They're scheduled for an official release this summer, though.

where do you find these? ive been looking for them....I dont like the show itself..the animation is really 3rd rate..which is sad these days...but the action figures themselves look pretty good and i wouldnt mind finding them

SO COOL oh God I got to play with the animated Starscream over the past two days and it's a WINNER of a toy. I can't WAIT to get my hands on all of them! (And WHEEE BOTCON !)

the show alternately makes me laugh, go 'oh, that's kinda cool', and occasionally makes me bash my head against a wall.

I admit I would prefer a different art style for the robots, but *shrug* oh well.

I also dislike the fact that they work in the public eye, but again, *shrug* oh well.

i could say 1000 things why i no like the new show but i let it be... i wish they would do two new shows.... 1 the oldschool fans of transformers like *like me* and 2 the one the kiddys from today would like....
