Here's the cover I did for the latest issue of Rowrbrazzle (#97) -- NOT in stores now!
Since this APA-zine is available mainly to members/contributors (I just got my copy in the mail today), I'm sharing the cover art with the FA community. The 'Brazzle OE, William Haskell, didn't have a cover for this issue, so he asked yours truly to throw something together at the last minute. I grabbed an old piece I did years ago, reworked it, and added a background. It turned out much better than I expected, given the "rush" nature of this job (special thanks to Robert Carspecken for some very helpful suggestions along the way).
The cover features Jennifer Logan, a/k/a The Star Fox (first published in Entropy Tales in 1986), and "Alpha." Alpha is a cyborg; he has a horse's brain and a robotic body. (Geeky, sci-fi details: The AI circuitry in Alpha's body has given his intelligence a boost, making him a 'uplifted' animal.)

Thanks, Neysa!
Angry? I think he looks... "determined."
But if he is angry, it is certainly justified. To make a long story short, he was mistreated by his creators. They were about to destroy him when he was rescued by Jennifer and the crew of the Star Fox. Jen is now the only one Alpha allows to ride him.

'Brazzle OE here: I sent the lot out in two waves around 17-18 April, but as the greater part (aside from two Priorities, a First Class and three International Air Mails) were sent Media Mail, there's no telling when they get to where they're supposed to go. Luckily there's always the extra copies in case the US Snail happened to have the munchies.
'm glad you got your copy all right. It really is a very good piece of art.
