I wouldn't trade adventure for all the gold in the world
Some expressive art that isn't depressing for once, yay! =D
Four-hour speedpaint, with some colors that I thought wouldn't work but ended up meshing nicely. 0o Nyxis was done on one layer and the airship on another, so there wasn't much I could do for huge color tweaks when I finally stepped back to look at it. XP
EDIT: Played with it some more. Here, HAVE MORE COLORS! 8D

Gotta say, your outfit and overall look reminds me of my own character in his own main outift (not that they look similar or something, they totally dont, lol) just from how they both scream "ADVENTURE!" in that wonderful old fashioned sense. Though I gotta say, you pull it off much better, especially in the posing. in my pic I just look soo plan and bored, though thats more the artists fault than anything else xD
Oh definately, though the thing is for that pic of myself in my outfit that I have I didnt get much input other than describing the outfit. the artist is a (now ex) friend whom didnt wanna do anything special with the pose and just did the art itself in trade for some stuff irl. Still, at least now I have a reference if I ever get the cance to get more art of him in that old outfit.
