“While Jaemie could not run and play like the other boys, he proved to be a good & loyal friend to those who could see past his being a cripple.”

A pic I did some time ago that is dedicated to all the people who continue to strive despite what Life has thrown at them.

I love what you've done here. This is great for its artistic value and on the merit of its message. I love how you made the lettering of his name crooked. That's just cute and wonderful as Jaemie himself. The fact that you've done this wins you so many points with me. He looks like someone who'd be fun to hang out with, so happy and grateful for what he does have in life. I admire that 'don't quit' attitude. I'd definitely like to see more of Jaemie. He's a character who deserves some love and the chance to expand and -no pun intended- stand on his own two legs.
Also,as a side note, I could see this turned into an actual, published book.

*bows in appreciation to you*
Artists generally have something to “say” with their works and it is a pure delight when someone in the audience, like yourself, “hears” what the artist is trying to get across.
Aside from getting a “message” across, artists very often try to have a bit of fun with their work, hence my presenting this pic as a faux book cover suggesting that there was more to the character than just his surface appearance.
Jaemie’s positive reception here on FA has certainly encouraged me to consider adding him to my regular cast of characters and show him in pics in the future.
Thanks for the encouragement for both him and me.
