Ouch, just ouch.... No excuse for my poor performance, but hurts to be blown out of the water like this.

Wow..just wow..2 shutouts in 3 games. I thought we had a great chance against Bridgeport but I never imagined a 7-0 blowout! In front of the home crowd and a national audience to boot! Another excellent team effort all around :) Was a shame that Sammy got hurt tho but luckily it was a minor injury and he'll only be out one game.

One more game for us before the All-Star break. Here's hoping that we can keep the division race tight for the remainder of the season. Go Gators Go! :)

Sebastien Giroux: It's never a pleasant experience to be on the wrong end of one of these games. I felt the guys said the right things afterwards; that we need to forget about this and move on to the next game. How we respond after this will be a true test of character for the team, but I'm confident that we'll have a strong showing next time out.

Chris Delucci: You never wanna get blown out like this, especially to a division rival. And it was doubly bad for me cause I had a bunch of family and friends at the game tonight as well. But this is just one game and we need to put it behind us and focus to keep our lead in the division. (Delucci is originally from Ocala, Florida, which is about a two-hour drive from downtown Jacksonville - Ed.)

Vesa Turunen: It just plain sucks to lose like this. We had a lot of pressure on them early in the first and I thought we'd get the first goal for sure. But when they scored, that got us down and they went on from there. We'll get 'em next time for sure.

I have to apologize for one of the worst showings of my career, after a day of solo practice to collect my thoughts I'll be back, ready to backstop this team and stay on top of the division. Congrats to the Gators for playing a fantastic game.
