I love the idea--but I wonder why you chose to use the simplified version of "Cat" instead of the far more beautiful traditional character.

When commissioners have ordered in the past, they've given me a picture of the symbol they've wanted that I've eventually added to my repertoire. I don't know Chinese, nor do I claim to in my journal. It's just what I had as the stamp.

Oh, ok--makes sense. I do know Chinese after studying it as my foreign language credit in college--so I was just wondering why the choice of simplified over traditional. Do you only use these characters now, or would you use other characters if provided? My curiosity is peaked.

If anyone wants a character not on the list, all I need is a picture big enough to make it a stamp. I try to stick to simpler characters though since it is an icon and the 100x100 version can make it somewhat hard to read.
