A bit of serendipity: While I was reading centaurdg's stories, I thought to send him this photo from the estate of the late jazz'taur 'Hayburner' Henderson (q.v.). It depicts the first recording session of Gunnar 'Long Shot' Sleipnirssen, principal banjoist of the Rag-Time Centaurchestra, led by William Hackney 'Waistcoat Willie' Blanchart (at the piano). The human in the background is identified as 'an Agent'.

Further research is needed, though, to clarify their history..... 7@=e
