well i assume it's because they're quite old, though my labrador gets along with her pretty well, it's my smaller dogs who tend to growl at her. But my male dog who doesn't like her i'm just thinking it's because he has arthritis in his back legs and worries about her hurting them, though i don't know for sure, i'm just assuming. With my female dog i'm thinking it's just dominance or something... xD
Awww, so fluffy! Really nice, thick winter coat and his colors are gorgeous.
Had to do the same thing with my husky. Most of the time, you can tell when he wants to go out and to the kennel, but there have been some nights (sub-zero temperature with high winds, or ice storm) where there have been no arguments about him staying inside at night. Ended up having to get him his own blanket as he started stealing fleece blankets and making a nest.
