I really love frogs, they always remind me of my Mother who has heaps of frog themed jewellery.

Its sequel/expansion "Shadow Magic" is considered to be better though. It's a turn-taking RPG/Strategy hybrid with more emphasis on the strategy part, with a bit of Empire Building thrown in (Like Age of Empires, Empire Earth, etc)

Unfortunately the summoned frogs can't cast magic themselves, but they can be given spellcasting abilities if you use the Editor that accompanies the game. Can even be used to 'mod' the campaigns if a bit of file trickery is used. They're called "Lurkers" in the game and are a bit on the weak side naturally, one of the lower-leveled Water summons, with the Wyrm (Big electrical sea serpent that can slither onto land) is the best Water summoners can access.
Basilisks are the best Earth summon, Ice Dragons are the best Air summon, Phoenixes are the best Fire summon, and then there are some summons not aligned to any element (Black Dragons - which ironically can't be obtained under normal circumstances - Gold Dragons, Chaos Spawns/Lords, etc)
