So, I've started on this little number a couple of weeks back. I've been working on it bit by bit. One of the major landscape pieces I've started on as of late. It's kinda easy to figure out which of the two is the first progress image.
For one, I started with a grassier area, that opened up into a beach - instead I went with a more sandy/dirt path with grass lining the area - I actually liked this a lot more, and I started to break up the path with tufts of grass here and there as you transition from grass to sand. I don't mind the sand in the distance, but I'm considering doing some minor cheating to get a more grainy appearance to the sand. not quite sure yet.. I'll see if I do or just go with 'vanilla' brush strokes within SAI.
I'm pretty damn proud of this image so far, and I'll be posting a third WIP of this shortly.
I'll probably scrap the older WIPs after a while.
Any suggestions or critique?
