This is a touching picture. I don't what exactly happen to the pup but it does remind me the lost of my first dog.

More specifically, some asshat put a puppy in a bag and threw it into the river.

ya. that is just messed up. if i see someone doing that i would shoot them with my pellet gun and save the puppy(s). but i would talk to them first before shooting

nah, I might say toss them into the river, not to the point of killing (dont want to be thrown in jail so you can take care of the puppy)

Anybody that would put a defenseless puppy or kitten into a bag and throw it into a river doesn't give a tinker's dam what you have to say to them. The way to teach someone like that a lesson is do the same to them so they have an idea of what the pups and/or kits went through. Even then, it probably won't work.

That's the closest a cartoon webcomic has ever gotten to making me cry, very well done, thanks for the feels :)

I think this is my favorite strip.

This is one of my favorite one-offs because you get to see a new side to Cerebrus, and this side that we see wants me to get to know her better.

I would love to support you in this, but money is tight. I can say we will do what we can when we can, and I hope this works out well for you.

I do not understand the comic but the three-headed dog is very cute

Previously on Housepets!: Cerberus (a lady dog BTW) used to be the guardian of the Netherworld as per tradition, then she got promoted to guardian of the Hall of Souls in Heaven. Pete the Gryphon (her ex-boyfriend), broke into the hall to steal a soul and Cerberus stopped him and arrested him. After that, Cerb volunteered for a new job and got promoted as psychopomp: In short, she helps the newly departed souls to cross the bridge to heaven -in this case, a puppy dog who was drowned by some sicko.
This was by far the most touching strip in the comic IMHO

Gonna be honest, when i first saw this while reading Housepets, i teared up a little. Cerberus is just a great big softy...so touching that all she wanted to do was make the poor kid happy instead of scared.
