Penumbra is an eldritch abomination from the void between dimensions, an inky black expanse of nothingness. Known as a Sombreed, she was summoned to this world by accident by a rather foolish young host who ended up becoming her physical body, however she is surprisingly friendly for her appearence and usually merely rides shotgun in the boy's mind, allowing him control, unless something forces her to take the wheel so to say and fight.
A reality warper, she's not black furred, she just absorbs all light hitting her, the dim red aura is a sort of event horizon for it.
The symbol on her leg means she's enslaved, and also seems to be someone's initials...
