It's good that you're drawing hands, etc, that in itself is a good start..... I'd try to concentrate a bit more on form.. I never did it when I was younger, but i do it now: break the hand down into parts/ circles.... so a rounded square for the palm, and elongated ovals for each of the finger sections. And of course using your own hand as a reference always helps ^^
