Thanks! I'm the opposite, I can make sunsets digitally but when I try it with watercolour paints it ends up looking too muddy.

hmm.. I always drew what I wanted to draw in sharpie or oil pastels, then painted.. wish I still had them, but I got rid of them.. :/

I always tended to get better results with coloured pencils and sort of ignored painting, which is something I'm trying to change now. I left a lot of my art stuff behind when I moved away for uni and I missed it a lot, so I'm building up my collection again slowly.

Ah.. Ya, I stopped all of my art forms when I joined the military.. I just started back up now.. I missed it.. glad to hear you're starting again :)

I never quite managed to give it up completely, but it's so nice to be using different tools rather than just scribbling on my notes with pen. I'm glad to hear that you're starting back up again too.
