
Dummy colors: A look behind the colorkey process.
Sometimes when making these color keys, I use "dummy" colors to work out shapes, pixel by pixel, before picking the real colors. Of course, I use colors noticeably different from the real ones so I don't mistakenly think I'm done and let a slightly inaccurate color slip by into the finished product.
