I started a small project last year that was basically a wearable Raspberry Pi. I have always wanted to do this since before Google Glass was announced and finally getting all the parts together was a major achievement. All that is left is just software tweaking.
As far as usability goes, I'm very happy with the system. I can play MP4s with ease, has very good audio quality (for a $35 mini computer), and the power usage is low enough that a '50000 mAh' USB battery can keep it going for a very long while (roughly 12-18 hours I've noticed. I'll have to test that fully later).
Using VNC, I took a quick snapshot of what I have so far when using the GUI. I plan to modify the start up script so that, unless I stop it before hand, it will auto start the interface (since when I play games on it, I prefer to use console). The bar graphs are powered by a conky LUA add-on from DA, which I'll link later on once I find the URL again.
Overall, very happy with the results. Now if only my Adafruit Trinkets would cooperate, I'd be able to use a WiiMote as a more feasible mouse.

I'm using an old pair of MyVu glasses as the primary output... but on my Bitcoin miner, I have a mini LCD screen meant for rear view cameras on cars. Most of the cheap ones can be modified to run off of 5v once you remove the voltage regulator (which makes the electrical requirement go up to 6v).
I'm hoping to add A2DP later on so I can just use my Bluetooth headphones. Yeah it'll decrease battery life, but I have enough wires to worry about.
