Here's a little follow up for a recent art I've done in which Flair had a little accident:

It should be noted that Flair really hates to detach from her body and even more to be away from her body. It probably has to do with being a strong and proud person that suddenly is unable to move on their own. That's why if worse comes to worse, she'd prefer to still just carry herself around then let someone else hold her and make her essentially helpless in the process.
Minor injuries can be covered by fur, but when it comes to the neck...it's another matter entirely ^^; If there's even so much as a bump on the flat top part of the neck, a person can't reattach back on, so all they can really do is wait until their neck fully heals up to attach back on. Sure they could try using a neck brace to force themselves to stay on...but if that slows down or stops the healing process, it's not really worth it in the long run D:
