A long story short:
Jelka was a mother and messenger of the partisans in Slovakia during the fascist "take over".
Jelka was her codename. When she heard three whistles from the woods, she knew that she was being called. it
was a password so to speak. After she had been betrayed and thus discovered, she fled into the woods with the partisans,
and fought along side them. She is a symbol for one who stands for their beliefs to the bitter end. The incarnation of freedom.
and as an artist, so am I.
