This is Lydaea (pronounced 'Lydia'), the mascot of my newly founded CAIPFF(the Campaign for the Acceptance of Insects into Popular Furry Fetishes). She is an adorable jumping plant louse and exists for the sole purpose of being sexed, mutated, eaten, inflated, and in general just abused. I dunno about you guys, but I think that sounds like fun.

The first experiment, titled TMHDPBSDG (Teaching Marisha How to Digitally Paint Because it is SO DIFFICULT Goddammit) seems to have been a failure. It took SO LONG to do this simple little picture so I lost patience and didn't add a background. All the signs are telling me I should just stick with lineart.

(yeah and the acronyms won't last, don't worry)

Also, if anyone is interested, Lydaea is designated as an Open Source Insect, meaning she can be freely used and/or altered by anyone who wishes to further the cause.
