I love the expression the artist gave Chance in this picture... It really shows that – despite the fact that he's usually played as the comic relief – he too can be as fearsome and menacing as any other wolf.

As I've already said in the story, he's the youngest of Drake's packmates. His birthday is merely three days later than Kaylee's, however, so it's not like there's too much of a difference between them!

At first, he was supposed to be very innocent and naive, but now he has basically become a slutty horndog... Although, he has that kind of behavior with his packmates only, because he loves them so much he can't help it. He may be very immature, but he's learning how to be a good wolf and he's fiercely loyal and protective towards the members of his pack, especially his alpha, his big bro and of course Kaylee.


Five random facts about Chance:

1) His real name is Cornelius, but he hates it with a passion. Everybody calls it Chance anyway, even at school; the only exceptions are his mother (Cornelius was her grandfather's name) and Bradley when he wants to tease/bully him. Not even the boy himself remembers how or why he chose Chance as his nickname.

2) The leather jacket he usually wears was a gift from Bradley from the time when the two still got along. He keeps it because, even if he doesn't like his older cousin anymore, he still loves the jacket.

3) As opposed to Wyatt, he's a huge fan of everything werewolf-related, and watches every TV show and movie with werewolves in it (yes, even the Twilight series).

4) His younger sister, Cynthia, was named in passing during chapter 5. She's the same age of Grace and one of her best friends.

5) Despite his appearance and general behavior, he's one of the best students of his year, and has a great visual memory.
