A rubix cube... what challenges will this bring to the 2 characters?

Don't worry about any more, but the two cubes aren't even the same cube.
(And the one in panel 2 still has two red centers. In theory these two cubes are similarly aligned: http://s8.postimg.org/4jw8il46d/Capture.png )

I'm sure that if you know the move algorythm, it's easy as cake to slve it... or if you are patient enough to observe what a move will do to the cube... what will change and so on. But I never had the patiance to track such things. But it IS just a chain of algorythms to solve it.
i HATE multitasking. I can never spread my attension to mroe then one thing ( I am very forgetfull you see ). If I interupt something to do something else i will forget where I waso n the previous task. I have a hard time at work because of this because work demands several things be done at once ( and yesterday if possible ).
i see, but still not everyone can be good at everything, im just mathematically inclined so i hit heavy multitasking (also cause i run multi-monitors on my pc) and able to remember the previous turn on the rubics also some foresight as you try a direction and you know what will come of it.
don't let it dred on ya, your art is amazing as you defy the rubics cube as it can't draw! unless is a scary alien rubics cube...

the only way I could learn to operate it was when my dad showed me some moves that would have a desired effect. ( like if you make the following set of moves, the colors over there will move over there). I'm good at following instructions... but not at finding things out myself.
And your art is good. Just keep drawing. You will improve with practice ( you already have from your earlyer works... I have been watching your stuff ).

Oh, hey... look: a new comic! ^_^
Nice!!
First of all, I always like how you play with view angles and mostly very unusual angles. Most people wouldn't draw a dragon on his back and if they do, they wouldn't find such daring view angles. Excellent!
I don't think that Draghi was too chubby... well, he does show some weight here, hehehehehehe. But you know what? It's like having a bull here: the masses of flesh and muscles indicate a feeling of weight and I think it's great. Draghi's muscular legs and paws in contrast to his slightly chubby belly gives him a well fed and realistic expression.
^_^ Who would like to pat and massage a slim bag of bones, anyway?!!
There's something about the issue of "playing with your pet" this way at the beginning of a story ir scene.
Personally, I think it's common to reward your pet like this when it has done something well. But here, it seems that the friends are just being nice and lovely to each other without any particular reason.
At first, I thought this wouldn't make so much sense.
But then it occurred to me: even I pet and cuddle my cat Nelly without any reason. ^_^
I come to her and rub her... just to express my love and she certainly loves it, too.
And Draghi does, as well!
So... even the first panel alone - it may not tell a lot of background story - does tell us a lot about the relationship of the characters. And this is just golden.
^_^
Well... and I see you're playing with Draghi's facial expressions again. Nice work.
Let's see how it continues!

I try to always experiment with new poses and angles for my comics. TO keep them from getting stale.
He has, unquestionably, gained some weight since his earlyer incarnations. And he is well fed... overly well fed ( because I have a weakness for feeding a pet even when I should hold back... )
Well, as for the beginning the story with the play sequance... yes, this is meant to show their relationship some. Through msot of these comics their relationship actually seems kind of strained. I wan to show that that is not the case. ( and although I never had pets of my own, I frequently interacted with neighbour's pets... and even strays... and would play with them for the simple reason that I liked it and they seemed to do so too. I don't think you need a reason to be playfull and nice to your pet... yes it's good to encourage them when they do something good... but if you restrict your interactions with them ... that might be a very stale relationship. good for maybe a well disciplined pet... but that soundsm roel ike a robot then a pet.
ANd I do try to make him express a variety of emotions. I'ts oddly fun to do so.
SO stay tuned for the reminder of the comic, and thanks for the comment!
