this is going to be what I sell as a "fancy badge"-- these have a cut-out design and are laminated with 10point (usually) heatsealed plastic, and come with a nice lanyard. Regular badges are typically done on 3x5 notecard stock with a basic colored background and are sealed with the cheaper quality press-plastic adhesive roll laminate.
