This was the concept sketch for Mom in the Taur Tales comic. I liked the concept and this was the one used. You can get a better look at the cub in the sketch. Heh, yes I know part of her arm is missing. Its a concept sketch.

There are reasons but I'm thinking of revealing that in maybe a third or fourth comic. Heh, if I make it that far. There is also reason why the cub is a snowleopard taur. Apologize for not straight out answering your curiosity but it would ruin it if I decide to include the answer in a comic later on down the line.
I think the biggest problem I'll have is that people might get attached to characters in the second story more than the first so it may be a bit of a juggling act to give everyone face time and of course the artist needs a break. I can't be greedy and taking up all the commission time. Hard to find good taur artists that will devote time to a comic tho.
