I'm not liking my weight again... v_v
Edit: I'ma just make this way more clear: PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME ADVICE! MOST LIKELY WHAT YOU SAY I'LL ALREADY KNOW!
The image to the left is about 2-3 years ago. I thought I was fat. I THOUGHT I WAS FAT. At least, the fat that I wouldn't like. FFFF
And me how I am right now, to the right... it's a picture when I was in St. Lucia. I decided to let you guys see who I went with, too. lawl. MY HAIR IS NATURALLY BLOND SO YOU KNOW! I just love red.
I have major dilemmas right now.
First one is with my hair. I'd LOVE it to be long again... but I can't STAND how it looks in the in-between stage. I'd want to cosplay as my own character, Rose... that red hair looked awesome and very close to hers!
And then the weight... I am pretty sure I have an eating disorder of some kind. v_v It is SO hard to eat small meals. I feel this need to just keep on eating. College hasn't helped, either, because most cheap food is unhealthy (even though my parents are trying to make me not worry about cost. I still worry! )
But then I also switch between these two mentalities: I either want to eat whatever I want because it tastes good and just not care about my weight, or I want to eat well and eat less and get to the weight I'd love to be at... but my mind won't stick to one of them! Dx It makes it so hard and frustrating!
I'm not asking for advice here, since my mind keeps switching on things... this is more of a vent for how I feel right now... and so you guys can see me.
For the right picture: I am not wearing pants. lol... I am wearing underwear. I didn't want to get into the water with my shorts on, and I didn't wanna take my shirt off. I scuba dived here, too. It was okay except my feet cramped BADLY in the flippers, and I kept getting water in my mouth for trying to fix my flippers in the water. NOT TASTY. EW.
...I miss how I was. :c I just really wanna train myself to eat less. XC That has been my first thing to do for over a year, and I still haven't been successful.

It's a program that you use to track calorie intake and it really helps. Just counting calories, I've lost almost 10 lbs since October. I'm jessjcox on MFP if you decide to get one and want a friend~
Also, if you find you are always eating, it might be you are not getting the nutrients you need. A lot of junk foods are empty calories. They don't fill you up because they don't give your body what it *needs* to be healthy. So you eat constantly. If you start eating dense calorie foods, you'll find you are filling up more and eating less. Eating vegetables first (or by themselves) is also a really good way to feel full as coloured veggies are REALLY heavy in nutrients.
Eating a lot might also be from depression if you suffer from it. As well, it could be from stress. Those were my two big factors in my constant eating. ;w; Meditation and reevaluating my life really put that into light.
Apologies if this is unwanted information! But I figured any helpful hand would be nice~

I've tried that site before, and like I thought, it didn't last. v_v For now I feel like I have to wait until I get out of college, because then I can go back to being in Weight Watchers (which is where I was losing a lot of weight!) but I can't do that while in college. My dad was doing it with me, so that helped.
It's really just college that is bringing me down when it comes to my weight.
And the only veggies I eat are green beans. Canned ones. I have decided I will only eat things I like instead of forcing myself to eat things that I should. So, I try to go for the healthy things I DO like eating.
And yeah... I did have heavy depression for a long while, and I feel that's what caused my eating disability (I am still positive it is one!) because I stayed at a fine weight until 2 years ago. Then I just gained a lot of weight.
I just dunno if I should even try to do anything right now, or else it will stress me out.

Start with finding probiotics to add to your diet. Part of the reason why so many people have trouble losing weight is due to bacteria imbalance due to the ubiquity of refined sugars. It's much easier to balance them out with probiotics than it is to cut sugars from your diet, since there's very little food on the market that DOESN'T contain refined sugars. They're even sold in capsule form as well, since most of the foods with probiotics aren't appealing to most people.
As far as diet goes, I'm going to use my brother as an example. He's been over 300lbs most of his life. He was depressed about it, which only made it harder for him to lose weight. He'd pretty well resigned himself to being stuck like that.
The first big change for him was when he decided to stop drinking pop. Or soda...I'm from Michigan; we call it pop. In his first year after he stopped drinking pop, he lost about 40 pounds.
The next big change came after our mum had a heart attack. Congenitive heart failure requires you to stick to a low-sodium and low-cholesterol diet. Not even 2 months after that happened, my mum's boyfriend found out he was diabetic, and had to start watching his sugar and carb intake. Not a whole lot changed immediately, and most of the meals they prepare at home aren't much different than before...but avoiding sugars, salt, and cholesterol made a lot of the food healthier.
Since that change, my brother has lost about 4 or 5 pants sizes. He still eats fast food occasionally, and still tends to overeat (which he still beats himself up a bit over)...but he's still losing weight despite those habits. He's actually losing more weight from the change in diet than he was losing when he was going to the gym every week.
A lot of people think of a "diet" as limiting yourself to incredibly specific foods...but it's not. You don't have to go all organic, and you don't have to cut out meat. Being mindful of the ingredients, and looking for alternatives that are a bit healthier can make a huge impact, and shouldn't ruin the meal ^____^.
I would suggest giving a few other veggies a try, though ^ ~. Grilled peppers, mushrooms and onions can be absolutely delicious. Best way is to just take a leap of faith. Next time you sit down at a restaurant that serves it, try something that's healthy and see if you like it. If you don't...just try again when you feel up to it. Little changes can make a huge difference in the long-run...it doesn't have to be instant :).

I'm going to avoid any more pills, because I am HORRIBLE with pills. I have anti-depressants I'm supposed to be taking but I forget them so much. :c
For me, I really just have to eat less. That is my first and main goal.
I won't avoid cholesterol, because I was shown it's not something that is bad. I am going by what the guy in Fathead said, and I love what he said, so I am sticking to that, really. I just really need to cut a lot of carbs and heavily sugared things. I HATE pop/soda, so that's no problem for me. I drink milk (skim-whole), water, almond milk, chocolate silk and rarely some juices.
And I have been trying new veggies. I have for a long time. I've tried different kinds of peppers, broccoli, asparagus, peas, other green beans and more... I can't stand any of them. I have a texture problem, and a lot of the flavors are horrible. Same with fruit. I tried a bunch of different ones while on vacation and they all were nasty. I only seem to like bananas and to be able to suck on certain fruits. I can't actually eat them.
I only like onions when it's for flavoring. I do love salads, though, but I only put the different leaves in there (including spinach) and shredded carrots, then ranch and croutons. Most anything else is nasty.
So I have known about all of this. :c That's why I said I wasn't looking for advice... I know things I can do, but my mind is indecisive. And college still doesn't help me out.
But thank you anyways. It's just a hard struggle I must over come... I must focus on eating less. xc

I eat badly because of it being cheap and because it tastes good. Some foods I buy that are pretty good for me, and I like, I at times won't even eat at all... so then I get paranoid with wasting that food I bought.
But other things I will eat that are better than carbs, so I'll go with that.

Sounds almost like..oh I forgot the term, but there is a condition where people do not get full, and keep eating as a result. Perhaps ask the dr about it?
As for your hair! When you go to get it cut only ask for 1/4in- a barely trim. It will keep the spits out of it, but with the haircut you have it will grow out into layers and not be horrid in the in between phase. I have a cosmetology license, and while I haven't been working in a salon for the past year, I have had your hair and now it's to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Take some vitamins as well, they will help in growing your hair out. One last thing concerning the red coloration: use a Sulphate Free shampoo and conditioner. They will help that red last longer than anyone thinks it should. If you can find it John Fredia makes a shampoo specifically for redheads, and I swear my color didn't change for 3months with that!!

I eat when I'm sad, I eat when I'm bored, and I defensively eat (if I don't force myself to eat it now it may not be there later, mostly due to my poverty-stricken upbringing). I can't afford the good for you food, and I get like you do: I want to eat what I want and I don't care even though I will cry later because I do care. .-.
I hate it and I want to do better. I've just started drinking water and being tea in place of soda. I'm too nervous to go on a walk, plus it's cold, and I just have no motivation to get out because I feel like I'm being judged as I'm walking. Even when I used to walk a mile to up to five a day I couldn't shed pounds because the exertin would just make me want to eat even more.
/headdesks into a piece of cake that I just shamefully scarfed down because it was there

I feel for you. Got a good job this past year, unfortunately it was a desk job and I gained 50 lbs. Gonna try to lose it this year.
And try white tea, its has less of a taste.
And you could always Follow Jane Seymour's way (62 and still pretty damned rocking in a bikini) Eat whatever you want, just eat half of it.
And remember, mathematically any increase over 0 activity is an infinite increase. So, even 10-15 minutes walking like 4 times a day.

I know you mentioned that you weren't looking for advice, but it seems most of the comments contain at least some nudges of advice. What surprises me is that only one of them mentions exercise. The best way to lose weight is to move more and to eat less. You seem to have recognized the "eat less" part, but without moving more, it will take longer to get the results you're looking for. People often ask me for fitness advice, and the one thing that I stress more than anything is to do "some exercise" more than what you would have normally done. Even if that means to just walk around the block a couple of times or doing as many push-ups as you can muster. If you find yourself getting ready for bed and realize, "hey, I didn't do any exercise today", do some push-ups or crunches before going to bed. The key is to be consistent. Find something that makes you move more that you can turn into a routine. If a morning walk after breakfast is something you can do, do it every day.
If you choose to eat pre-packaged foods at home or to eat at restaurants, the only way that works to your advantage is that calorie information is readily available if you choose to pay attention to it. "eating less" means to "eat fewer calories". Get a baseline by counting the number of calories in your typical diet, then find ways to back it off a bit.
You mention that eating inexpensively has been a deciding factor and one of the most expensive ways to eat, healthy or not, is to eat pre-packaged food or to eat food from/at restaurants. Preparing food at home is often less expensive and can be much healthier.
Integrating a larger volume of vegetables than anything else is a great way to go, too. I make a killer stir fry. It's only a little bit of meat and the rest is vegetables: cabbage or bok choy, carrots, spring onions, bell peppers, snow peas, and mushrooms - served on a small bed of rice. If you're interested in trying it, I can send you the recipe.

This is why I asked for no advice. I already know this stuff. While in college I just am not inclined to do most things because of being busy a LOT. I was doing fine when I was home.
And like I keep saying, right now my ONLY goal is to try to eat less. That's it. I will not try to do other things because I have learned I'll just not do anything at all.
And right now I refuse to eat anything I can not stand, and that includes most veggies and fruits. Once I get older and more of my tastebuds die out, I'll be able to try them again. But for now, no, I won't. I want to live my life in a way where I enjoy it. Needing to eat nasty things all of the time does not make a happy life for me. The only veggies I like are CANNED green beans and iceburg lettuce and raw spinach for salads. And shredded carrots in the salads. Otherwise other things are nasty. I try new things all of the time, too, to try to find more things I can eat.
Right now I just want to wait out the college stuff and just focus on eating less.
When I am home I'll be able to go back onto weight watchers (which was the one thing that actually helped me) as well as work out with a trainer. I can NOT work out on my own.
I really wanna make it clear to you, as well as everyone else who gave advice, to listen to when it says for no advice. v_v; I ask for no advice because everything people tell me are things I know. It just becomes more upsetting when people continue to say the same things.
I will make a journal later about stating this since SO many people gave advice... so just know it's not just about you.

By all means, do live your life in a way where you enjoy it! Based on this post, though, it seemed that there's at least one aspect of your life that you're not enjoying and you're not happy about. I think that's where the advice is coming from: Well-meaning individuals, suggesting things to combat that unhappiness. It sounds repetitive because it's the stuff that works, but I understand your frustration with the repetition. If you already know the parts, in that sea of repetition, that work best for you, sweet!
I like canned green beans, too (truth is, I like pretty much everything that's classified as food, but those are more toward the top of my list). One of my favorite quick and mostly healthy meals is honey chipotle salmon (frozen, pre-packaged from Sea Cuisine. I get it at BJ's) and a can of green beans. I chuck the salmon in the oven/toaster oven for however long it says & heat the green beans in a small sauce pan on the stove (I usually put in some butter, salt, pepper, fresh minced garlic, and crushed red pepper [I like spice]) - super quick and easy.
Raw spinach and shredded carrots in a salad is great! Trying new things to find stuff that works for you is great, too! It really does sound like you've thought it through and found what works within your own parameters, so excellent!
Focusing on eating less while in college will at least keep you from gaining more belt sizes and could possibly start helping you to decrease some of them. People often get frustrated with how long it takes to lose the extra padding, which was my only reason for suggesting the addition of something that causes you to "move more". If you find that's impossible to do without a trainer or because of a busy schedule, no worries! Get to it when you can get to it and aren't stressed with college. The only pitfall with "getting to it when I'm less stressed and busy", though, is that careers and life in general tend to end up being busy and stressful. It's often the case that the less busy and less stressful time never comes.
Personally, I've never bothered with a trainer because I've always been motivated to "move more" on my own, and trainers are just an added expense to my already abysmal budget. Plus, I'm kind of the opposite. I get nervous and self conscious when other people are around, so I prefer to work out completely alone. Different strokes for different folks.
