This picture was an unexpected treat.
When
asked me to paint his big boy working out, all I could think of was - "more scales to polish..." On second thought - I realized that this set came with some bulky muscles too, and I simply love painting big guys!
I was also given freedom of altering a bit the design of the markings and haircut - and that is always the greatest pleasure ;)
The work was so much fun, I didn't even realize how soon it was done!
So - here's some blue man meat for your eyes to feast on!

The title is from Ernest Hemingway: "The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places".

I absolutely love this piece of art work man. you manage to capture everything about kato without over doing it. sure, everyone might think this might be too hyped. But being 10ft.6inch tall. working out nearly everyday in his life. wouldn't you have the same muscle size as him?
Also I love the details in the pants. Just the way I imagined them. gosh why hasnt this piece got too many comments? is it because its male? x~x
