Commission for a set of pawpads in a very....mesmerizing pattern. These pads take a very long time to get set up, so they are much more expensive. They took at least 3 hours to get cast in the mold, and then the 2 hours to cure, but the end result is pretty neat.

I'd still keep an eye out later on, but that's a personal thing. They do look great though, and I commend you on making sure to double up on the back support with the method used here (I can imagine most people would just try and overdo it and make the stripes all the way through). I'm guessing it's a good few millimeters on the first layer before the backing of silicone to fill in the rest of the mold, and prevent premature wearing down of the colored layer? :)
Great work as always, I love watching your new products come out, especially the experimental ones!

Yep, the color is plenty thick so that way even after some rubbing down it'll stay that color. Since these were a commission for another suit maker I'm sure they'll let us know if they fall apart or anything; this was indeed an experiment for us and it looks real nice but don't think we'll do many, with as much time as they took in the first place.
Thank you though, for the feedback and your thoughts. We do always appreciate hearing what others have to say, whether it's negative or positive. Of course we like the positive more but if you don't get negative, you never fix anything! xD

Hey, if they hold up really well, you could use this method for butterfly/snow noses and spotted/blotchy pawpads, for lighter colored or spotted characters too! It's always awesome to experiment. And it's lovely knowing that you actually read the comments, rather than skim over them or ignore them, like some would rather do. ^^;
