I was stopped in the right turn lane and the lady decided to keep driving straight trough my bumper. Well bumper cover, the bumper the square thing under the tail light. Anyway, she broke a TON of shit. Not joking. She dented the rear quarter panel, left rear door. Scratched the drivers door, front fender, head light, door handles, hub caps and what not. Put it this way, $4,000 worth of damage but I got one word for ya, "insurance." GET YOU SOME! Her insurance is covering all the repairs and the cost of a rental car. Anyway, yeah.

well my OTS/CTS split is 9 degrees or less on a hard pull so it says my cooler is in good shape, I'm game on flushing the coolant and have the quarter turn drains for the block on both sides, will be nice to flush it out every couple years and keep it really clean to hopefully prevent failures, I do have the blue spring kit for the fpr
Keeping on top of it is key. It sounds like the previous owner practice d routine maintenance! I have deleted the EGR on my friends 6.0 (for off road use only ) and it is a massive pain in the ass but can be done if need be. Have you though about head studs? It a horrible job but can be done. Hey, at least its not a LB7! Given how unreliable that engine is you need god dam wing nuts on the cab!
One of the powerstroke guys seems to suggest a big part of the problem is a weak coolant pressure cap could be the start of a lot of headaches. All the filters I've pulled have all been Ford OEM ones, I might hit the dealer and have the service sheet pulled, it does have the green coolant and the coolant level update sticker on the degas.
