The notes are basically timekeeping to show how much time has gone on a picture while I work on it, which timekeeping is paused when I need to asks the commissioner a question or when they wishes for me to pause work and discuss modifications to be brought for the designs. Similarly it is also paused when RL situations forces me to pause the work. In fact, when I was working yesterday there were a few series of phonecalls including once during this sketch which forced me to close one of the series of timekeeping before restarting to keep track of time.
