Well, HeroMachine 2.5 is out, and the folks at UGO have upgraded yet again. More animal options, more tails, and a new set of props!
This, of course, is not a perfect rendition of my TBP counterpart; they don't have digitigrade legs, they don't have a cape with a hood (it would've wiped out the wolf-head selection under Headgear), they don't have enough colors to get bthe cane right, and they don't have a non-fantasy bar backdrop suitable to TBP.
Still, it comes rather close, don't you think?

(chuckle) Sadly, no. Tails from the Blind Pig is a near-future science fantasy setting, in which a "plague from space" called the Martian Flu has ravaged the nations of the world. (High mortality rate even in industrialized nations.) Of the survivors, a small number wind up transformed, in what the discovering researcher dubs "Stein's Chronic Accelerated Biomorphic Syndrome". (People have been asking him ever since if he couldn't come up with a better acronym than SCABS.)
This Wanderer is an older version of me (fifty-ish), who's finally gotten an acting career... of sorts. As you can imagine, a 5'10" wolfmorph gets typecast a lot. The outfit is just natural drama. People are going to stare, I might as well give them something to look at.
The "Blind Pig" of the series title is the Blind Pig Gin Mill, a common hangout for SCABS sufferers (often called SCABS themselves by the unchanged) to come for a drink. (Since I can't stand alcohol, however, I just have a cola. "Rum and Coke, hold the rum.")
Side Note: The city in which TBP is set officially has no name. It's definitely coastal, but the series creator refuses to localize it any further with a city name.
