Damn. Trying to remember if it was as big as Nu Gundam. I know ZZ is bulky, but I can't remember if it's as tall as Nu.
I could never get them to stand still in Gundam Dynasty Warriors to compare.

the main double ZZ was a powerhouse of a gundam...the high mega cannon was almost unstoppable

The story is that they made only four test units. Despite even having a scaled down High Mega Cannon, the thing ate so much energy that it's reactor couldn't keep up with it, meaning it couldn't fire it consecutively. It the same problem that plagued Double Zeta everytime it fired it's HMC. It would have no energy left. Essentially, the unit was underpowered.

In the manga, they've had it work in a team on earth along with a Nouvel GMIII, a Mass Production type Hyaku Shiki, and even a MP Zeta of all things so basically it's like they have the Gundam Team from ZZ just in MP units.

The Nouvel GM III was in Sentinel. This thing is in "U.C. 0094: Across the Sky". The comic focuses on testing a new combat system for the Delta Gundam Kai from what I know. When they get to Earth they run into the "sort-of" Gundam Team. The first chapter is translated, but nothing else so far that I know after that.

I don't see it in the Ankshas. Feels like a Jegan mixed with the Ashimar.
Z-2 felt like a FAZZ version of the Zeta but with a bit of the Methus in it.

Its the mp version of the regular ZZ. FAZZ itself was a semi mp test suit. Both are awesome though lol
