I actually got it because I love greek mythos, and as a kid I had a book of carrousel horses and the seahorse was always my favorite, so my artist and myself sat down and worked out the tattoo using the seahorse in the book(with a few alterations to the head hooves, ect), and made up the horse. I actually added the background later after I decided it needed more going on.
Coincidentally (people don't believe me when I say I didn't think of this part while designing it), I'm a pieces born in the year of the horse.
