So I did that Pokeddexy thing in December. It's up on my tumblr page if you want to see the pictures larger and in better detail. Uploading 31 pix is not my idea of a great day, especially when I'm going to be flooding inboxes already. XD
So here's the text rundown of the who and why.
December 1st was fav bug Pokemon. While I been breeding this bastard more than I care to say, I still haven’t actually fought with him. But he’s adorable so fav bug goes to Joltik.
December 2nd is fav dark Pokemon.
Besides being adorable, have you pet Sneasel yet in Pokemon-amie? 10x more adorable. ^^
December 3rd. Fav dragon Pokemon. Who else but the cutest one? Flygon.

December 4th - Fave Electric Pokemon - Luxio
I couldn’t put Joltik in both categories. XD But I did very much use the Luxio line in Pearl, so I thought I would pick the cutest of the 3 forms and draw that one. Plus it’s a cat. XD
December 5th - Fav Fairy Pokemon
I honestly can’t say I have one. But I did let Klefki join the ride with me to take out the Final Four so I’m thinking it deserves a little love.
I really don’t see any fairies that I like all that much. LOL
December 6th - Fave Fighting Pokemon - Meinshao
While I haven’t had the chance the use this one, I think it looks cool. My final team doesn’t have any single type pokemon. If only this one wasn’t single type, I’d have likely chosen it over Lucario. I save Lucario for steel though.
December 7 - Face Fire Pokemon - Quilava
This is another Pokemon I never got to use. Largely because I never played silver and gold either version. He’s just adorable. I don’t particularly care for fire in general. Fire magic, fire weapons, forest fires, kitchen fires… you get the point. XD but if prolly use this cutie… If I could ever get him. XD
December 8 - Fave Flying Pokemon - Pigeotto
Ugh - pic looks horrid. That’s what I get for drawing while I’m ready to pass out. XD
Why Pigeotto? I dunno. He’s always held a special place for me since the very first Pokemon red. Maybe because he whooped everything’s ass back then. Dunno. Either way, he wins for fave flying. ^^
December 9th - Fave Ghost Pokemon - Sableye
If you haven’t fed this guy a pokepuff, go do it. It’s the cutest evilist thing EVER!!
December 10th - Fave Grass Pokemon - Skiddo
Quite possibly the cutest fucking thing ever.
December 11th - Fave Ground Pokemon - Sandslash
Don’t have a good story for this one. I always thought they were adorable but I never got one back in the original Pokemon Red. I don’t think it was available in Red, and sadly I had no friends who played to trade with. By the time I was able to get one, I was more into always using dual types. So sadly I never got to fully use this cutie. So they’ll get immortalized in my art instead. :)
December 12 - Fave Ice Pokemon - Amaura
Isn’t she adorable? I used Amaura for a little bit. But sadly she went back in the box once I obtained Sneasel. XD
December 13 - Fave Normal Pokemon - Rattata
Back in red when I caught this guy and evolved him, I killed EVERYTHING!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA
December 14th - Fave Poison Pokemon - Crobat
I never was much of a fan of poison until recently. Crobat just kicks butt. Nuff said. :)
December 15th - Fave Psychic Pokemon - Meowstic
Or as I named him for 75 levels, Amano. Never really been a fan of psychic types. They are always rather creepy looking. Just like Meowstic, well he started creepy but isn’t so bad once evolved. Anyways. Yep.
December 16th - Fave Rock Pokemon - Kabutops
No good story here. I’ve never been fond of rock, but I did always think this guy had good design.
December 17th - Fave Steel Pokemon - Scizor
In D/P I had a Scizor. He was cool. Yeah…
December 18th - Fave Water Pokemon - Greninja
This guy was pretty cool and he made the travel with me to beat the 4 so, I’ll draw him. :)
December 19th - Fave Eevelution - Espeon
hy? NEKOMATA!!!
December 20th - Fave Electric Rodent - Plusle & Minun
This only proves that the Pokemon style DOESN’T adapt well to any style. But I’m not redoing it.
Why these 2? Because some years ago Troy and I bought a Plusle and Minun beanie plush. We put them in our cars then. They are still in them. Minun in his and Plusle in mine.
December 21 - Fave Baby Pokemon - Azurill
Baby pokemon are rather simplistic. Always thought this guy was rather cute. :) (And this is my most poplar piece of art on tumblr...WTF?!?)
December 22nd - Fave Mega Evolution - Mega Lucario
It really was a toss between Absol and Lucario. I don’t think I ever used Absol but the mega evolution is just adorable.
I wanted to draw Lucario for steel and even fighting but because I was using him here, I didn’t. I don’t want to repeat any pokemon in the categories. XD
December 23 - Fave Single Stage - Zangoose
Oh if only you weren’t single type. If only!!!
December 24th - Fave Pokemon Design - Sharpedo
Why? Cause it’s a shark and a torpedo! I always thought the design of this was cheesy but also cool. So Sharpedo gets drawn.
December 25th - Favorite Legendary - Mew
I’ve never had him, but he’s just to fraggin’ adorable. He’s one of the least complicated legendaries too. Why they gotta be so friggin’ detailed? Legendary should be in power, not design. XD
December 26th - Fave Starter - Bulbasaur
He’s number one. Literally. XD
December 27th - Coolest Pokemon - Mudkip
Why? Because no other Pokemon gained as much notoriety as him other than Pikachu.
December 28th - Cutest Pokemon - Chingling
He’s just adorbs! Even the name is cute! Simple design and always smiling. :)
December 29th - Scariest Pokemon - Mr. Mime
This guy bothered me before XY. But now? Now that he’s animated AND 3D… Yeah, I don’t want this sick freak near me. You can’t tell what this mother fucker is planning. For all we know he plans to sodomize you in your sleep. Creepy bastard.
December 30th - Most Bad-Ass - Salamence
ALL dragons are bad ass. But I thought Salamence was back in DP. I was working on one, and went to the trade center. I forget what I put up, but whoever traded me gave me a Japanese shiny level 100 Salamence in return. I thought that was the most BAD-ASS thing EVER! So Most Bad-Ass goes to this Bad-Ass. :)
December 31st - All Time Favourite - Gyarados
Back in the days of Red I caught a Magicarp. I knew thank to a game guide, that he would evolve into Gyarados. Course I had no idea how to pronounce Gyarados until the first pokemon movie. But I struggled and leveled that Magiccarp. I let him take lead in the party just to be switched out immediately. Slowly gained his levels until he evolved. Suddenly I had this super bad ass Pokemon that took out EVERYTHING I came across. I remember giving him some beam move that roasted and toasted EVERYTHING! He was so bad ass.
Then I got RS, went to grab a magiccarp, leveled it and suddenly the newer and in color Gyarados just wasn’t as awesome as i remember. *sigh* But I still repeat the tradition and get one with each game I play. :)
