I don't see how G is greater when most of the locos and rolling stock look like toys and not very realistic + you need a lot of room for G and it also costs more. I think 00 is better in some ways because its smaller and more affordable. even better for size is N because if you don't have a lotof room it can fit on a 4ft by 2ft bored. you can also have more realiztic length trains as there is more room.

I'm not saying G is bad but it seems very toy like with appearance smoke generators and sound which doesn't sound THAT realistic
