.The Apex Predator.

“You cannot see me, human, though I stand in front of you. This flesh is but my trappings, my shell. When I grow older than this body can stand, I will find another to make my own. It’s frailty is not my weakness.

“It is my trail, too, for in this flesh you see my past lives as you would layers of sediment in a cliff face. Each new beginning, another layer, another piece left behind. These talons, this tail, this face, these eyes. Each of them is a memory of what once was. Memories say there was a time once, long ago, when I looked much as you do today.”

There's more developed about this character than I might ever share. Mostly because I don't think anyone cares. Still, I'll post some more clues when I commission more pictures. Maybe you'll get a sense of him before long.
