Meut's magic is a rather common form of shapeshift. Well, for the Blood that is. The power isn't seen to be as "filthy" as Brun's earth magic, but it is still seen to be a low form of magic. (Especially as the Akriri or "BirdFolk" can do it much better naturally!)

Meut only saving grace is the size at which he can shapeshift to. Being a rather tall Jahkl himself, his size and reminiscence of a deer (The Sun's holy animal) make him both a threat in battle and an icon for the people.

Meut works along side Cirio with their respective Griffins, Albert and Key. Their job requires eliminating threats to the High Family's rule. It was Meut and Cirio that banished Brun, despite Meut's relation through blood.
