This is the last picture you'll ever find about Malcolm, when he was pursuing a Boydbuilding career, just to keep failing over and over again.
The best he could get was a 2d runner up at the Mr. Olympia contest in 1995..just to lose against a 3 times winner. :/ It was not bad for somebody for his age though..but what for?
Since then Malcolm decided to quit fooling himself and start to act like an adult. He realized that he started to be a bodybuilder just to get rid of his past as a chubby, reclusive boy that liked to draw buildings and watch old cartoons. He thought that way he could be somebody, that all the kids that made fun of him and got bulliied in the past (like Max Bronson) would saw him and be embarrased.
But after that contest, everything started to lose sense. All those kids never cared about him and he was betraying himself again, being somebody he doesn't was and wanted to be. He realized that he had little to none common to all those snob, steroid-freaks that challenged.
After that, he trow in the towel, returned to his homeland, Canada and rolled back in College as an architect. Many considered him a dessertor..
...but he didn't cared. For the first time in his life he did something he liked...he was being himself.
Definitely, inspiration come when you don't look for it I was watching at bodybuilding pics and decided to talk about that back story about Malcolm's past.
