This is like the fourth painting I've done. I don't claim to be good at it, but it's fun, so... hurrah? There are things that didn't come out right, but overall I'm pretty happy with it!
Based off my own photographs of a U.S. Sherman Tank destroyed during the Battle of Peleliu, during WWII.

Really digging this. It took me blowing it up into full view to really be able to appreciate it. It's so nice to be able to appreciate each and every brush stroke in the way this style lets you. Seems like the sort of thing that doesn't get much focus or spotlight here on FA, but I think you did a great job.
As for Peleliu, well, lol, some friends and I came up with this stupid tongue twister when playing War Thunder as the Japanese Airforce. Risking sounding like a prejudiced pleb, give the following tongue twister a go.
Say "I have a special delivery for the Emperor of Peleliu Island" with your most stereotypical Imperial Japanese accent. I'm not proud how much of a snicker it gets out of me.

LOL thanks a bunch, i'm really glad you like it! I'm not much of an artist so this is just me playing around painting things based on photographs I've taken. It was something fun to do and of course the subject matter is near and dear to my heart. Few things get me as excited and motivated as exploring war relics!
