Are chamois a goat or an antelope? Google was not much help.
I have been slowly plucking away at this head since before Thanksgiving with holidays, family events, local events, life, other projects, and art block just getting in the way at every turn... and even when I sat down yesterday saying "enough is enough lets get this done" I was thwarted yet again for I do not have enough long black fur for the neck!
So here is the finished head, minus neck. Removable hand made horns, hand made nose, neck vision, airbrushed, with wiggle ears.
Fullsuit to follow... eventually... if CR Crafts ever gets my backorder filled >_< been waiting since before Xmas.

Wikipedia says it's a goat-antelope.
I know it's not a very trustworthy site at times.
But there's that.

as someone who works in a natural history museum let me try to explain this. it is a "goat-antelope" not a goat or antelope but a member of Subfamily: Caprinae in the Family of Bovidae (cows). muskox also are in the Caprinae group (not a cow like most people think). to put it simply they are closer to goats and are not true antelopes at all. and if you wish to ignore the sub-family then they are just an odd looking cow.
