OLD ART ALERT! This was drawn back in 1990, when I was in Grade 10...back in my TMNT days, and my black jaguar (panther) character, Pantera, was still realively new. Heh, who knew I was really drawing furry art? Because I didn't! Didn't even know what furry was back then.

Pantera was my first furry character...I knew I wanted to created a panther character, I love panthers :) Her fur was supposed to be so black, that you couldn't even see her jaguar spots. Back then, she was supposed to be a human-looking being, but somehow got morphed into a "mutant panther" (since I originally created her from the TMNT: And Other Strangeness RPG book, but since then, her story and origins have changed. For a brief period, when I had her on Furcadia, she had a blue head-dress (hair, in the game), but that was avery short-lived.

These days, she pretty much looks the same...only the art has gotten better over the years, as well as by other artists who drew their own interpretation of her ;) The only thing that's really changed on her own being is that she wears an earring in her left ear, that has a leather cord coming down and holding a little skull with two white feathers with red tips. And I tend to draw her digigrade as well.

Pantera turned 18 this year...I used to draw her all the time...I really should draw her again sometime O.o;
