Nair is the big no no of hair removal. Veet is....better but no good.

Which version of Nair? Men's? Or women's? Men's actually has a pleaseant smell.

I tried veet months ago.....it burns a second time around if I don't get all hair first time.

Another product I'm looking into is called....well I forgot.

*hugs a Bose tight* I know your pain. Nair sucks a lot... And while there's no lasting damage really, chemical burns hurt like the dickens. Once you recover and get the urge to try again, try an actual shaving razor. If you have an electric, us that to trim (but gawd, don't try to get everything with it or the cuts will hurt even more then this) and then use a 5 blade or something in the shower. You may need help with details so pester Izzy to shave your butt. >^.^<

Yupper, sounds like you may have had a reaction to it. You're prolly just real sensitive to it, which isn't too unusual. Might wanna avoid it though, in the future. Even if you prolly are all silky-smooth and extra delicious now. *wink*

i tried nair once...but i think i washed it off too fast because i was scarred about all the CHEMICAL BURN WARNINGS

you're better off waxing sweetie, with nair, you're jus' burning the hairs off at the skin's top layer, and it's jus' gonna come right back... but waxin' will pull it right out from the root, so it can't grow back for about 6-8 weeks at best.

certainly a lot less painful and less prolonged... jus' tear it all out. :3

Anyways, by my experience you either left it on too long or your slightly allergic to it. Also it helps to take a warm shower or warm bath before applying it.

nair I've had trouble in the past, tends to have a burning sensation. the smell is the chemical reaction that it's having with your hair and how it is dissolving it so it can be wiped away. But either or does not remove the root of the hair so it will grow back in time but with multiple uses the hair follicles get thinner and less dark.

Best results for me is Sally Hansens hair remover. Yeah, its the burn it off type stuff, but unlike nair and other removers, it has no warning about being on the genitals, and it does not melt my Polycarbonate chastity cage.
