Work was getting me real down and I was gettin' slow
An office job for a wolf like me is not the best, ya know
So I thought I'd give myself a break and ambled to the shore
A lifestyle change was on the cards - I gave the dice a throw.
The lady was a real gem and she told me where to go -
A lakeside condominium a little down the road,
Where the clean air is so fresh and the crystal water's blue
But there ain't no frikkin' internet, nor a single flushin' loo ...
I moved in on that very day then grew my fur real long
Grabbed an ol' guitar just lyin' thar and raised my voice in song.
Spent days out in a fishin' boat, driftin' all around
But I miss my steaks 'coz on a lake no cattle can be found.
Oh yeah, I'm a Bronze Age wolf,
Oh yeah, I'm a Bronze Age wolf,
What I catch I eat, oh yeah,
And man, I eat enuf.

Last Saturday, I think it was. There's a cold front moving up from the south, merging with a low over the Bay of Biscay to create this pockets of yiff that will shower all over continental Europe in the next week or so, or until I go back home ...
I wish it really was my house too. I'd happily live in animal skins and freeze my furry butt off just to live in a pfahlbauten (or crannóg, as we call 'em at home.) Main reason is I don't think a thatched roof would leak as much as the sieve I have over my den ...
