I took a movie to bed last night
the hero journeyed to set things right
his smile was familiar to see
He fought off the world and never failed
Got the girl cause he held tough and prevailed
Just like a better - the way I remember - me
Tell me it’s not too late
To be the man I used to be
Tell me (Tell me)
You’ll help me see
There’s a way
To reverse my fate
Help me find the way
Back to where I
Can remember me
Once I was the star and life was fine
Then I got scarred and began to decline
I watched other movies and forgot about mine
If I had a job I’d send flowers to you
If I had a life you could share in it too
If I had the strength I’d need nothing but you
(Chorus x2)

We can all be remembered if we can find the way to ourselves.

A few things to note here:
1: the power behind Colson's voice is mind boggling because a good 80% or more of modern music can not push like that!
2: the thematic flow here is beyond compare except by your own work fox.
3: It is a very sad number sang with a very upbeat tone. VERY hard to exocute correctly!
Probably in my top 5 works from you. This goes right next to "Immortality," "Method of Creation," and "Dramar."

My god you guys... I really hope you consider submitting your work to the motion picture industry. PIXAR doesn't do alot of singing in their flics, but you could always hit DISNEY up. Listening to this, my mind flash-backed to the guy in the recent movie of theirs FROZEN. Could totally see him singing this as part of the movie.
This song sounds spectacular, I will grant you that, but now that I see the lyrics for what they are I see the protagonist as far too much of a demented, deluded "nice guy". If this is meant to be a tragic tale of a men so blinded by his entitlement, yet dimly aware of that, then success. If an inspiring tale of eon generations, then no.
So after initially dismissing this song because I found the ending far, far too grandiose (read: showy), I have recently picked it up again, and realized that I really love the rest of it.
However, I noticed that the lyrics in the description are not complete. I'm not a native English speaker, so although I can sort of gather the gist of it, having the lyrics in writing would really help me out.

I just have to ask
colson how on earth he could sing this without being in tears... I can't even find the strength to sing along... just... bravo *tearfully claps*

LISTEN HERE, KIDDO. YOU CAN'T JUST MAKE THIS.
And not expect me to cry. This is a beautiful song, and the singer has an amazing voice. I am going to listen to this song all the time. This is also the first song I've heard by you, so I'm already 110% on board with you and your work.

I feel a connection to this song, the lyrics feel like they were made for me.
It sounds like the story of me, my fight with my mental health and how I feel like I'm trying to get back to "me" again.
I first heard this song 2 months ago and now I listen to it whenever I need a boost. I always feel myself welling up with tears, without fail.
Thank you for making this, Fox, even though it's for someone else, this feels like "my" song.
