Fake book cover for "The Plague Dogs" by Richard Adams. I started this back in February when I was reading the book and it's been sitting around unfinished since then. Today I just felt like finishing it for some reason, so here it is.

That was just an icon for somebody. It was the smallest image I had saved to test whether or not I could upload something, that's all :)

Hey, that's the one I have, too! Well, it's the same image, but the cover design is different. Different publisher or edition maybe :D

It was such a disturbing film, and I can't even imagine reading the book!

The film definitely was not a "pick-me-up".

But if you ever do pick up the book it does come with a "happier" ending :)

Fantastic painting for a fantastic story. Never read the book, but I've got both versions of the movie. One alludes to the book's ending and the other is alludes to the dogs dying at the end.
