This is a certain little image that I have submitted towards
a conference looking for a theme for every year.
Surprising thing was that I was the only one who entered. XD

It's probably growing rare for illustration contests of this nature to be done or taken seriously. Shame since there are so many people that have the talent and are not getting the recognition they truthfully deserve. Your design has a strong feel for the Theme and like it was a lost form of creativity. When I look at this image, it reminds me of CBS Storybreak from the mid '80s and find that to be most admirable since some of the books that was animated I had the chance to read and were pretty good.
I do think it is rather interesting that you were the only entry, but that was just good fortune on you to have your work get direct attention. I am rather curious though, how did you know that you were the only entry?
