Ooh, a piece done on something other than cardstock! I love it!

This is a ballpoint pen portrait of Mikeycat done on craft paper and outlined in silver marker. The edges were roughed up with a belt sander and the image was attached to the backing with industrial hot glue and flat elastic segments. The next layer is plastic screen bordered with silver marker, and the last layer is a thick piece of plastizote foam covered in silver spandex. There is acrylic webbing on the back to ensure the spandex stays glued, and the title and my signiature are written there in the same silver marker.

I made this at work in about an hour (off the clock!).

It has a very nice 'canvas' look to it in person as it stands out from the wall by about an inch. The scan, of course, does it no justice.
