For painting class, we had to do out of class assignments. I chose to do a series of portraits. My final one, I decided to paint Jessica Alba because a.) she's gorgeous, b.) I wanted to try and successfully render a celebrity, and c.) my boyfriend's older brother LOVES her and I've owed him art for some time. His birthday is in June anyway. I really struggled with this, but in the end, I am very content with what I accomplished. It seems that almost everyone who sees it recognizes who she is immediately, which is good enough for me. I am posting it here because well, I am proud of it! And I haven't uploaded what's been keeping me busy here at school lately. Hope you all enjoy :3

Done with acrylic paint on canvas I stretched myself. Took roughly... 12 hours? I am not sure, I don't time myself! Longest painting I've done though!
