Ahhhhhhh! The smell of a fresh new year!
Wait... *sniff sniff* I smell sourdough.
...nevermind. In any case, 2014 marks my seventh year here on FA! That's a lot of time spent scribbling pictures for all y'alls- and you know what, I appreciate each and every one of youse peoples! Before FA, my art's only home was DA, where I counted page-views on individual pictures, getting excited when they broke 20- but now, well, you guys have helped me achieve quite a bit more than that. Though every ounce of attention I get is awesome, most of all I'd like to thank those of you who comment on almost every single thing I dump on the internet here- you know who you are- and those of you who've commissioned me not merely once, nor just twice, but over and over again- that's the sort of attention that even the most self-conscious artist can't easily brush aside.
So thank y'all for all the great attention! You guys have boosted me to the heights that've let me make as many pages as I have so far of my comic '49th', over on
Fenris50 ! Makin' a webcomic of my own was always a distant little fantasy back in the days when I was but a wee young lass of a pup, but now, well- 38 pages, and hopefully a whole lot more to come in the future!
Keep up the awesomeness guys. I know my comic doesn't have tig ol' bitties and asses poppin' out all over the place, so I extra-especially appreciate the attention y'all give it, and the comments you post. Ahhhyeah, nah, I like traditional- I'll keep it up. I'm just always jealous of the ease with which someone can slam out a little doodle with their tablet and pop it up on-line; for me to do the same thing, I'd have to use up a piece of paper, ink it for the same darkness, and then scan+edit it before posting it- and then there are the occasional times you specifically want the smooth, cold precision of deigital for a particular effect- But my traditional work aint going nowhere.
I'm not quite sure entirely what you mean... But usually when I hear people say that, they're talking about 4channers or people or whatever just giving out needless attention to one another for minimal work and progress, massaging one another's ego's over nothing, therefore motivating them to never do more.
'M just throwin' it back out there that I appreciate the criticism and praise my watchers have given me, 'cause it's motivated me to be productive and actually improve.

I feel happy, empathizing with your happiness at experiencing our happiness, which introduced itself through your happy corner of the site, which I can only hope makes you happy to produce and continue producing- thus making our interactions ones of mutual happiness at witnessing cosmic unspeakable horrors born of grungy ichor... and whatever resides beneath your hat.
