Tryin' to draw beaks....
Started out as an attempt to draw my character Kite, but I ended up spending more time on trying to draw her beak just right. I'm not happy with how it looks, and only being able to draw on a netbook (VERY small screen) it's hard to look at references, or do much of anything that has to do with art.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't draw avians enough to give any beak advice, but when I was learning wolf anatomy I used to go to the bargain section at barnes and noble and get 10$ books with pictures of wolves. I like books a lot better than internet resources or even go in your backyard and if you have trees you can bird watch :)
